Parenting Coaching

Children do not come with a manual — and the patterns we parent with are usually the ones we grew up with. Parenting coaching helps you raise confident, emotionally secure children while healing your own triggers along the way.

Our coaches use NGNLP with parents and, where appropriate, with children directly — our documented case studies include children and teens who overcame anxiety, grief, and low self-esteem.

Parenting coaching is not about becoming a perfect mother — it is about breaking the specific loops that steal the good moments:

  • Raise confident kids without criticism that damages self-image
  • Help your child through anxiety, fears, or big life changes
  • Stay calm instead of reacting from stress or old patterns
  • Rebuild connection with a withdrawn child or teen
  • Support teens through social media pressure and identity struggles

It starts with a consultation — a judgment-free conversation about what is happening at home. Your coach then designs a plan around your family, and you meet in regular 1:1 sessions, in person in Lebanon or online. You leave each session with techniques to use with your child that same week, and you will see the plan working in the small daily moments — bedtime, homework, the argument that suddenly goes differently.

NGNLP (New Generation NLP) works with how your mind stores experiences — the beliefs, emotions, and habits running underneath your daily behavior — so change happens at the root, not just on the surface. All HerSelf Center coaches are iUNLP certified. Read more about the method on our coaching services page.

Every coach on our team is iUNLP certified — and each brings her own specialty:

A note on guilt, because it comes up in almost every first call: needing parenting coaching does not mean you are failing. It means you noticed the pattern before it hardened — while your child is still young enough for the change to feel natural. The mothers who come to parenting coaching are usually the ones paying the closest attention, and the work honors that instead of judging it.

Do you coach the parent or the child?

Both, depending on age and situation. Often the biggest change for a child starts with coaching the parent.

My child is anxious — can NLP help?

NLP techniques adapt well to children and have helped young clients with anxiety, fears, and confidence. See the case study above for a documented example.

What ages do you work with?

Our documented client work spans school-age children through teens and young adults — and their parents at every stage.

Can both parents be involved?

Absolutely — aligned parents get faster results. Your coach can guide how to involve a partner.

Most parents wait until things feel serious before asking for help. With parenting coaching, earlier is simply easier: patterns that took a childhood to form in you take far less to change in a family that is still forming. A first parenting coaching consultation is free — bring the situation that repeats at your house, and leave with a clear picture of what we would work on, together or one-on-one.
